Instead of ice in the juice, the carrots are refrigerated beforehand, and the glasses are chilled with ice that is then tipped out and wiped dry. If the carrots give less juice than expected, it stays that way, never topped up with water or sweetener.

Instructions
- 1
Take the chilled carrots from the refrigerator, scrub every surface under cold running water for 1 minute, and trim the tops, thin root ends, and any damaged spots.
- 2
Cut the carrots into pieces no wider than 3 cm and no longer than 8 cm, keeping every piece smaller than the juicer feed chute.
- 3
Place 4 of the 8 ice cubes in each of two glasses for 1 minute, discard every cube, and wipe the interiors with a clean towel so melted water cannot mix with the juice.
- 4
Place a chilled jug under the juice outlet, start the motor, and feed all 750 g of carrot one piece every 3 to 4 seconds without forcing the pusher.
- 5
If the motor pitch drops sharply or the juice flow stops, switch off the machine, wait for all movement to stop, clear the chute and pulp bin according to the machine manual, and restart.
- 6
Stir the collected juice for 10 seconds to even the color and body, then measure the total yield.
Even if it is below 450 ml, do not increase the volume with water, fruit, or sweetener.
- 7
When the juice is clear orange with no large pulp pieces, divide the measured total equally between the two dry, chilled glasses and serve immediately without ice or any other addition.
