    Trim hairtail fins, cut into 6-7 cm pieces, and rinse under running water.

    Slice radish and potato thickly; cut onion and chili into bite-size pieces.

    Layer radish and potato in a pot, add water, soy sauce, chili flakes, and garlic, then boil 8 minutes.

    Add hairtail and onion, then braise on medium heat for 12 minutes while basting.

    Add Cheongyang chili and reduce for 5 more minutes for heat.

    Lower heat, rest for 3 minutes, then plate and serve.

Tips
