Instructions

    Squeeze tofu dry and finely mince onion and carrot.

    Mix pork, tofu, vegetables, garlic, and soy sauce thoroughly.

    Spread a thin layer of filling on each perilla leaf and fold in half.

    Dust with flour and coat with beaten egg.

    Place folded side down first in a medium-heat oiled pan to set shape.

    Cook both sides until golden and fully cooked through.

Tips

Overfilling makes it hard to cook through evenly.
Pat leaves dry so flour adheres better.
