Ricotta Spinach Stuffed Shells

Stuffed shells are jumbo pasta filled with ricotta and spinach, baked in tomato sauce with melted cheese.

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 190C and cook jumbo shells until al dente.

    Blanch spinach, squeeze dry, and chop finely.

    Mix ricotta, spinach, egg, Parmesan, and salt for the filling.

    Spread tomato sauce in a baking dish and place filled shells on top.

    Top with mozzarella and bake for 20 minutes.

    Remove when cheese is melted and rest 3 minutes before serving.

Tips

Squeeze spinach well to avoid watery filling.
Even torn shells hold up once arranged in sauce.
