Yakgwa is a traditional Korean honey cookie, deep-fried and soaked in syrup for a chewy, fragrant sweetness.
Instructions

Rub sesame oil into flour, then add part of the honey and ginger juice to form dough.

Roll dough and shape with molds or score patterns.

Fry slowly at 140C for the first fry to cook through.

Increase oil to 170C for a second fry to deepen color.

Simmer water, remaining honey, and cinnamon, then soak fried yakgwa in syrup.
